ENEA FOR THE COUNTRY
TECHNOLOGY DISSEMINATION AND TRANSFER
ENEA performs technology transfer activities aiming at increasing the Italian economic system’s competitiveness with a view to sustainable development. Such activities actually consist in promoting dissemination and the use of know-how and instrumental resources of the Agency and its participated companies.
In such a framework the Agency:
- Promotes and facilitates ways to make innovation supply and demand meet also by participating in national and international networks, and in EU research projects
- Protects and exploits intellectual property – e.g. invention, model, trademark patents and copyrights – by drawing up licensing agreements and creating high-tech enterprises as in the case of spin-offs
- Supports technology transfer by providing specialist technical advice and promoting the adoption of ICT technologies for interoperability and dematerialization of production processes
- Performs presence and distance learning in order to favour knowledge transfer activities and create new professional figures.
